URFERAQUA FOUNDATION
A PERCEPTUAL ARCHITECTURE
FOR FUTURE RITUALS.
URFERAQUA Foundation is a contemporary interdisciplinary foundation dedicated to the exploration of perception, ritual, olfactory architecture, embodiment, ecological awareness, and cultural transformation through art, movement, scent, water, and symbolic systems.
Founded by performance artist and system-builder Yaxuan Li, the foundation operates as a long-term research platform integrating contemporary art, sensory design, ecological consciousness, spatial experience, and post-disciplinary creative practice.
Through exhibitions, performances, scent research, publications, educational programs, and cross-cultural collaborations, URFERAQUA Foundation investigates how perception can become a living architecture — where body, memory, environment, climate, water, and symbolic language converge.
The foundation supports emerging forms of artistic research that move beyond traditional categories, cultivating new relationships between aesthetics, consciousness, materiality, biodiversity, and future cultural systems.
URFERAQUA Foundation also advocates for ecological sensitivity, the protection of non-human life, and the preservation of water as a living memory shared across species, landscapes, and civilizations.
